GrannyFlow was founded with a simple observation: many backyards across Sydney are sitting idle while housing demand continues to grow.
After years working in residential construction, we saw firsthand how complex and fragmented the granny flat building process had become. Homeowners were forced to coordinate designers, approvals consultants and builders separately — making the experience confusing, slow and unpredictable. At the same time, we recognised that many properties hold significant untapped potential — unused land that could be transformed into valuable, functional living spaces.
GrannyFlow was created to bring the entire process together under one roof. By combining design, approvals, and construction into a single streamlined system, we help homeowners move from initial idea to completed granny flat with one team managing every stage.
Today, GrannyFlow is delivered by Aloha Homes Pty Ltd (Licence No. 488676C), a licensed NSW construction company with direct experience in residential building — including granny flats, knock down rebuilds and duplexes. We service homeowners and investors across Sydney’s Western suburbs, Inner West and surrounding regions.
Our goal remains straightforward: to make building a granny flat in Sydney smarter and more accessible.
